Ok call this me trying to be forgiven for bringing you the Kool-Aid pickles recipe. Here’s one you might actually feel like trying out, not just to gross out your friends. Ready to make a Jello shooter? Here it goes (simplified version) :

1. Find the ingredients : 3 packs of your favorite Jello flavor, 3 cups of Vodka or Rum, 4 cups of water
2. Boil water
3. Add Jello packs, stir for a few minutes
4. Add Vodka or Rum, stir
5. Let the Jello set and serve in cups. Voila.

If you wish to make your Jello shooter recipe a little more sophisticated, you can always add to the mix fresh lemon juice, Triple Sec, Mountain Dew, sweet and sour drink mix, Schnapps, your favorite juice or replace the Vodka or Rum with Tequila. For one, I prefer the vodka Jello shooter recipe because Vodka leaves no alcohol taste but it’s your shot, you do what you want!

Ubisoft announced the release of Naruto : Rise of a Ninja for Xbox 360 for October 16, 2007. Here is the 2nd trailer of the game :

Naruto : Rise of a Ninja will be the first-ever Naruto spin-off exclusively for the Xbox 360. Ubisoft truly tried their best to make this Xbox Naruto game look a lot like the TV show while being interesting enough for non-Naruto fans as well. Ubisoft Montreal will be the first non-japanese company to tackle a Naruto game so this game will definitely be different than others; some are already calling Naruto : Rise of a Ninja the best ever Naruto video game.

Ok so tonight is the Miss Universe 2007 contest, airing from Mexico City. Not the worst thing to watch on tv if you have a minute. Besides, if you’re a guy and have a girlfriend, just bring the subject up and she will DEMAND to ask the show. Don’t ask me why.

Now you might not want to watch the show all the way through and might have interest only in a few Miss Universe 2007 contestants and there are plenty of pics around on the web; but even better than Miss Universe 2007 candidates pictures is watching the Miss Universe Contestants’ Vlog. Your girlfriend will want to watch those as well and it is somewhat more classy than staring and drooling at a static photoshoped pic. And if you are watching this with your girlfriend, remember to play it safe : always comment on how the Miss Universe contestants are not that pretty after all, are so fake and must be terrible persons in real life. Call it survival instinct.

For those of you who followed the Bill Vendall stunt last week, you probably already know it was a marketing hoax orchestrated by Will Ferrell’s buddies at FunnyOrDie.com. American Idol contestant Sanjaya Malakar, brother of Shyamali Malakar, played the spaced-out Bill Vendall character as a hoax. So no, there is no such thing as the Sanjaya Art Project, as stated in the video on the left.

Find the original video that started it all here. Is FunnyOrDie.com worth a few minutes of your time today? Perhaps. There’s a few videos of Will Ferrell himself and I would advise that you remain skeptic about what you find there, I’d bet there’s a good number of other hoaxes around. Enjoy!

I don’t play a hundred video games. I choose one then go crazy at it. I played Starcrat 1 and WarCraft 3 so much it almost became a problem. But it didn’t and I plan on going crazy on Starcraft 2 as well. The Starcraft 2 release date is not even close to being announced but Blizzard sure is making the wait fun. Earlier this week, they have issued a pre-order release for a very nice Terran Marine limited edition statue.

I don’t really collect these things but you have to admire the Starcraft artwork and craftsmanship. It’s a statue of the Tychus J. Findlay character, standing on top on a dead Hydra. Sweet. 18 inches, US$249.99, shipping October 2007. Limited to 1 per customer so no you can’t buy 200 and make your own little geeky Starcraft army, you millionaire brat.

The much awaited Starcraft 2 from Blizzard has finally been announced earlier this week. As always, Blizzard did not go in the specifics about the official release date of Starcraft 2 but they did release some details about new Starcraft 2 units. Go see the new Starcrat 2 protoss units at Blizzard’s official site. You’ll find the classic Zealot as well as Protoss Immortal (the new Dragoons), the Stalker and the Phase Prism. Wow.

My 2 cents ? The Starcraft 2 gameplay looks a lot to me like the first Starcraft : lots of units, siege tanks, high-tech etc. That’s exactly what I loved about SC1 and feared they would cut in favor of a more Warcraft 3-like setting. The Starcraft 2 races are going to stay to same also : Terran, Protoss and Zerg. The biggest difference right now seems to be the graphics in SC2. The 3-D graphics in Starcraft 2 look incredible and the interaction with the environment will be greatly improved. You can bet on Battle.net being overhauled for the occasion as well for improved Starcrat 2 clan options, tournaments and more.

Will Starcraft 2 be a winner? It sure as some enormous shoes to fill and lots of competition to face but… you know you want it.
