Joost™ the best of tv and the internet

Have you heard about Joost? Joost brands itself as being ‘the new way of watching tv’. Mainly, Joost is a free, high-quality full screen player which allows you to watch full-length shows in a channel-browsing manner without the hassle of schedules or time-zones.

How to get free Joost internet tv? Well right now Joost is in beta stage and works on limited member invitations, so you can’t just download Joost beta from their website; you have to find someone kind and deeply interested in your entertainment fulfillment to send you a free Joost invite.

Finding somebody to send you a Joost invite is a piece of cake. Simply browse the blogosphere (ex : search Joost on technorati) and you’ll find plenty of people eager to send a Joost invitation your way. Or you can ask me. Simply post a comment below and say ‘Send me a Joost invitation!’ and I’ll send you one by email.

My 2 cents : How would I review Joost? I’d say it’s a very nice beta so far. Overall channels, features and widgets are somewhat limited but show lots of promise. Installing Joost is as simple as it gets and browsing is quite instinctive. Quality is excellent but I strongly recommend having at least 1 Gig of RAM; Joost is not a light application by any means. Is Joost the internet tv of the future? Well I’ll let you decide about that. You can find screenshots here at their official website so give it a try, it’s free and no I don’t make a dime for each of you I recommend.

Edit : Please note that I’m unable to send more Joost invitations at this time. Perhaps later I will be but right now, I just can’t. Sorry!
