I’ve just performed a search for Naruto videos on YouTube and found ‘about’ 631,000 videos, clips or episodes. Wow, that must be some king of a record for an anime. I personally think that this is a great use of YouTube; Naruto videos are a thousand times more interesting to watch than a video of Saddam’s hanging. (BTW, if you’ve lived in a bubble and don’t know Naruto, here’s the wikipedia article about the series)

Viewed over 2 million times each, and that doesn’t count the number of people who downloaded the videos from YouTube and watched them over and over again… I wonder how many people do indeed download videos from YouTube. Naruto videos are also quite popular on a number of alternative video sites to YouTube, although I believe YouTube truly is on top for that sort of thing.
